"I had one of the best experiences with an insurance person that I've had in many, many years. I'm an older person so I'm used to the good service I used to get from an insurance company. I worked with a lady named Deanna McDermott in the Maquoketa office of the Rachel Davis agency. Briefly, I received a billing for my annual homeowners policy that nearly doubled since last year. I called the Dubuque office and did not receive a call back as indicated when I called in the AM. When I called back later in the day Deanna took my call. She dig some digging and called me back shortly. She found out for me that I was not covered by any auto insurance since March 2024, which was a problem within State Farm's auto group billing. She instantly created a new policy for me so I was covered. She went over and above to help me with the problem. Getting a new auto policy would then reduce my homeowners policy. Had she not researched this problem immediately, I would still be uncovered, unknowingly to me. Deanna did a quick and thorough job and documented with notes what happened.
